I just got a Cryorig CPU cooler and on the box it says it fits the LGA 2011v3 socket but on newegg it says it fits all intel and amd cpus. Are CPU heat sinks that universal or will it cause issues installing a heat sink for a LGA2011 socket on my LGA1150 CPU?

Thanks.

edit: here is the link to the CPU cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UF1H68938

the cooler should include mounting hardware for other sockets in the box

It should also include hardware for installing on LGA115x.
