Wireless Headphone Suggestions

Go to solution Solved by watts300,

@CatLovingCoder I recently bought some headphones and Sennheiser RS160 was the runner-up.  (The one I bought wasn't wireless so I won't mention it.)  I did a lot of reading and watching reviews before I made the purchase.  I even went as far as ordering both pairs.  But I intentionally opened the other one first and returned the RS160 without opening the shipping box.  So, now that I've given my excuse as to why I didn't buy them, I just mean it to point out that what I had learned during my shopping was that the RS160 is a really great closed-back headphone.

They're not bluetooth.  RF instead.

Always been more of a speaker person than an headphone guy so I am a little lost when it comes to the headphones to get for a family member.

I am looking for a premium wireless headphone with the following:

  • The budget is $500 USD or less.
  • Comfort is most important.
  • Sound quality is not very important.
  • On headphone volume adjustment is needed
  • Must be wireless
  • On ear is a requirement

Also, would love to hear suggestions for a decent PC center speaker with an internal amp.

Thanks! :)

Didn't see this reply and went with the RS185, but after HOURS of time researching! Also, I didn't see the RS models on the company website because I missed the blue arrows

Wow.  High roller.

Have you had much time to use them yet?  How are they???

They have not arrived yet, and they are for my grandfather so I will not get to see them much  <_<

I did not want to chance anything being uncomfortable and have them go unused... like his hearing aids.

I will let you know how they are when they arrive; the build log is here if you are interested: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/328351-build-log-htpc-for-grandparents/
