can this laptop run minecraft

so my little brother wants a laptop for some reason and the only game he plays in minecraft so can this laptop run minecraft between 20-60 fps

Minecraft is a fairly CPU intensive game, for what that's worth.

every pc can handle minecraft, only depends the settings at what played, it could handle it with 40 fps on low with optifine

no way at all. for integrated graphics al LEAST an i3. Get a laptop with an A6 or A8 APU

 

i have a craptop with a Pentium B950 and with optifine at lowest settings i get around 44fps

There really are not many options that can give you any decent power for that price.  I think you'd be better off trying to get a i5 used laptop of the 1st gen series, that would get decent performance.  But a dual core celeron is just garbage; on Core 2 machines with integrated graphics those could barely get 10fps.  A celeron will not be any better.

My HP Elitebook has a 1st gen i5 6gb of ram and intel hd graphics. I can run the game on low-mid settings decently. I tend to have the render distance turned up a bit too.

i dont recommend low end cpus for minecraft hd 4000 is not that good for rendering
