I am planning a gaming rig,  could i run a i5 4670k and 2 760 4gbs and a sound card with a corsair 760i or sould i just get a 860i

ok was not planning on really overclocking was going to use gigabyte easy tune on the motherboard to change power mode

Okay. I'm using a 750 watt power supply and it's powering two overclocked 660 Ti's and a 3570K @ 4.4GHz. Power draw is somewhere around 550ish watts.

760i will be perfectly fine

A good 600-650w will be plenty for a 760 sli.

You should get a cheaper psu.

As far as I know, Corsair link only works with AX psus. Just get the cheapest one you can fine: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cmpsu750ax

It's quite overkill though.

Why? Digitally controlling your PSU is boderline pointless. I recommended the 760i for the all-modular design, reliability and very good efficiency. If you want something with less wattage and just as good, try looking into XFX and Seasonic power supplies. Those brands are extremely reliable

As far as I know, Corsair link only works with AX psus. 

Corsair link only works with "AX---i" PSUs so only the AX760i, AX860i and AX1200i will work with Link.
