HELP! Weird Files On Pc

Go to solution Solved by Beltboy,

You've got show system files on, these are the recycle bin and the legacy docs and settings folder needed for windows xp software to run on windows 7+

They are perfectly normal every one has them, if you don'e like looking at them re-tick the Hide system files options.

You can't delete them cos they're aren't really there they are special system links that windows uses.

That looks to me like a botnet!!!

(if you cant tell im being sarcastic)

theres nothing to worry about... that looks like its part of the computer

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

I'd go ahead and delete those files.

Though I doubt leaving them there would harm anything.

Go into safe mode with NO NETWORKING, and run malwarebytes and windows defender. it will take care of your problem. Do not open any other programs in safe mode. This should clean up anything else your pesky virus left behind

This.

Out of all those directories, those are the most likely to be locked by even a default Windows install.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
