The only purpose of a quality amp would be to get as low an output impedance as possible, which I suppose the O2 is the right choice for. Shouldn't make too big a difference though.

Why dont you see if you need an amp.

If you feel you dont, then dont get one.

If it wont get loud enough, then get one

I'm considering using my Custom One Pro as my desktop headset. I wonder if it is worth Amping the headphone considering how low impedance it has. I'm getting an O2 AMP, and one question, do I plug the mic header to input socket? Sorry for noob question.

One question then, is the O2 a sure buy? In other words, are you going to buy it anyway, whether the COP will benefit from it or not?

If it is, then just order it, wait for it to arrive, and the question will be answered by itself then.

I'm not sure to be honest. I can't find much on the internet. I actually planned to get a DT990 Pro + Modmic along with O2. But I faced some family difficulties and need money, thus I drop the idea of DT990 and thinking of getting the amp instead.
