Hey all,

I seem to have to replace my CMOS battery quite often due to my windows time always being wrong which really annoys me

Is there anything i need to activate or disable in the BIOS or somthing to stop it draining out so fast?

It gets annoying after a while only had the motherboard for about a year

Motherboard:  Asus Z87 Pro

I have had the same issue with my motherboard for a year now, really annoying. I have the z87-k and after I moved it to a new case I think there was a short on the motherboard that causes it for me, I have to recover bios setting everytime I boot also

yea really sucks, my motherboard was okay until I moved it to a new case. What i think happened was that I had static and then I touched the motherboard shorting out like one circut and everything has been messed up for a year now
