Ghetto HDD Mounting

So during the week I upgraded my little humble file server from 3TB to 16TB. and with this came a fair few HDDs, 9 and an SSD to be exact. With plans for another 2 SSDs.

 

As I now have 10 drives I needed to get them in my case somehow. Now I have a Cooler Master Silencio 550 that all this is currently sitting in. I had to get a little creative for some of the drives...

What's your guys HDD setup looking? Normal or a little ghetto like mine?

Ghetto mounting is best mounting. 

 

I had an HDD mounted with velcro at one point.

You should see how I've got them mounted in my TJ07! zip tied to the back of the mobo tray

If you could add a fan under them you'd be golden.

I could but it wouldn't be able to get any air from anywhere. I'm on the hunt for a better case anyway. Due to the door on the front the front fans barely get any air.

I love ghetto mounting and can say I don't have any of it in my pcs right now but awesome stuff.  Still with that said I would try to have more of a match with the screws used or some pattern and I would have painted that board material you use to secure the drives to something.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

More or less for Ares right now. The HDD is going in a laptop, and that will be kinda ghetto as well since I lost all the screws for said laptop. :P

Once the door is on I won't be seeing it so I'm not really bothered how it looks to be honest. I have got some green self adhesive carbon effect sheets that I could cover them in. Maybe when I get bored in the coming weeks.
