For the first like week, it took about two minutes for my headphones to activate. Whenever I plug it in, the light doesn't turn blue until I unplug and replug for two minutes straight. But then, yesterday, it took about 50 minutes for my headphones to work, and whenever I turn my computer off, it doesn't work again. I think it might be my motherboard because my audio for the 3.5mm jacks are messed up (for every 3.5 device). Is it the headphones or my motherboard. And btw, the 3.5 mm jacks are definitely because of the motherboard.

When I plug it in, but it doesn't work, the SteelSeries sound card doesn't show up in the device manager, but the USB ports are working correctly. Sometimes, when I plug the headset in, it says in the bottom right corner, that the USB device i just plugged in malfunctioned, and that I should unplug it and then re plug it.

Sounds like you should get an RMA from steelseries to me. other than that, have you tried the front/back USB and 3.5 mm jacks? they might provide a solution, otherwise it's probably the headphones. You could also (if you have them) try USB 2 vs. USB 3. I know that my computer liked the USB 2 for all peripherals, and only liked USB 3 for Flash drives, etc, at least until I upgraded my BIOS to the latest version, so you could try that/a full re install of all your audio/USB drivers.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
