That's really f'ing expensive for what it is.

Maybe, but for me it is not too expensive to make it worth it to me. I would gladly pay $50 to have a wireless mechanical keyboard in my living room.

Looks great for convenience, also would allow for mechanical keyboard for a HTPC without the long wire going across the room.

That's neat, but it should be WAAAY cheaper. I mean, it's basically just a bluetooth to USB adapter for $42...

For that price I could just buy a dedicated Bluetooth keyboard...

Sure you could but this product is not for those that want a membrane keyboard. It is for those who want a mechanical keyboard which all I have found are wired.
