So I want to build my own Line Array speaker setup. I'm really just wanting to do it to say that I did it and maybe, if its good enough, use it at my home by the pool as a nice party setup.

If you're unfamiliar with Line Array's the two most popular are JBL's VTX series and Peavey's Versarray series.

My goal is 4 subwoofers with 6 2 speaker cabinets. Im wanting to do it with less than $1500 total, and hopefully less than $1200. I'm not extremely interested in these being SUPER AMAZING more so than functional. This is my current wish list:

I'd like some suggestions from anyone that has any ideas.

I have attached a small paper with my starter design of the enclosures.

Don't touch any car speakers, especially from Pyle if you want anything that doesn't sound like shit.

What sound do shits make?

*I'd imagine 'splosh' or something like that....:D

I actually have some Pyle's that I am moderately satisfied with (considering price). I'm not looking to build this AMAZING setup, Im looking to do it (basically) to say that I did.

Although I am open for suggestions. Please let me know if you have anything. (I had considered using some Infinity speakers, but they are about twice the price and still not TOP end)
