Not really. PCIe 1.0 X16 is the same as PCIe 3.0 X4 (or PCIe 2.0 X8), which isn't severely bottlenecking a 270 any time soon. You'll be perfectly fine.

I was thinking of throwing my old 270 into an older pc with a q6600.

Anyone know if the card would get a significant bottleneck from being used in a PCI-E 1.0 x16?

Also, what does 1.0 x16 compare to 2.0? Is it similar a 2.0 x8 or 4?
