Bottleneck?

Hello everyone!

At the end of this week i'll be building a new pc with two r9 280x cards from gigabyte.

I have one question though, will the rest of my system, especialy the cpu, bottleneck those two cards?

System specs:

Cpu: Intel core I5 2500k

Mobo: asus p8z68-v pro/gen3

Ram: 8gb kingston hyper x (2×4gb)

Psu: Corsair tx 850w

Cpu cooler: gelid tranquillo rev 2

Case: modded powermac G5 case

Nope. There won't be a bottleneck whatsoever.

The only game to do so would be battlefield 4 / crysis 3 when it uses 95-100% of your quadcore (only on certain maps) where a small gpu usage blip down to 90% or so can occur.

It quickly rises and falls around 95% in BF4 but apart from that one game, it'll smash everything else...as it only happens on one crysis 3 map (for me)

Your GPU's will still be at 90-100% usage the entire time,.. pretty much balls to the walls performance

Haha i wish i could efford those but i found a deal of 2 280x's from gigabyte or powercolor for just 280 bucks so i chose the gigabyte ones because i have some good experience with the windforce cooler
