You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

just pick whatever one. They are both pretty sad CPUs with as sad graphics. xD Neither one will offer you any edge in performance really.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

For one, Packard Bell is a very off brand computer manufacture. Not only that, but the Celeron N2840 is already out of production and that computer doesn't even show up on their website. All this boiled to a point, this computer is going to have pretty poor support from Packard Bell and don't count on a easy to use time.

On the other hand, the Acer notebook does show up on their website right here: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.MLFAA.010

Acer is also a highly regarded computer company, that usually has pretty awesome support.

On another note. If you're spending $400 on a computer, you can find a better one than BOTH of those.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

If you can please get a used desktop or build one from used parts. If you only have 250 to spend on a laptop I wouldn't buy one. Not one of these anyway. Nobody can be that desperate.
