my future rig?

So this is my first time building a computer from scratch, I know what I'm doing when it comes to putting it together but I'm less knowledgeable about what parts to pick. I'm gonna use the pc for gaming but not exclusively for it. If you guys (and gals) could help by pointing out bad choices, or directing me towards cheaper components that carry the same performance or the same part cheaper that would be much appreciated.
