Yellow spot on Monitor

Go to solution Solved by MrYuriy,

That's what I believe is referred to as "pixel burn" or something of the like?

Either way, that's what it is.. A bad defect and/or damage.

I just got my Qnix QX2710 monitor and everything about it is great except i noticed this.

I was wondering if anyone knows what this is and if so, is there any way to fix it.

Also if there's any issue with this post that breaks code of conduct sorry this is my first post =P

UPDATE: I have decided to contact the seller on eBay and ask for a replacement, hopefully Australian consumer law helps me here =D

I think it's a defect. Or maybe something has been pressing onto that spot for a very long time and thus damaged it.

PS, I'm almost always wrong thou, so best to wait till other advise / tells you.

I also own that same monitor and no defect whatsoever, paid for a pixel perfect monitor and I received it. Hope you can figure out what it is. Send that image to Qnix support team!

Qnix has a support team? sweet! I wonder if it's better off to report the issue with Qnix or the eBay seller I got it from. Problem is the eBay seller made it abundantly clear that the yellow tint issue isn't covered by warranty =/

Thats bad, you bought it from Ebay, it should be covered by the warranty. I don't know how to get a hold of them tough. Look them up.
