Idk I think the Cpu might bottleneck

Do you think an i5-4690 would still bottleneck it?

The tube of thermal compound is enough for several dozen applications. It is not needed as the cooler comes with compound. But if you want to use another product, pick a more reasonable size. 1 - 3 grams is sufficient.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Thank you so much!

You don't like AMD cards ? My spec has a better psu, and unlocked i5 and a 128GB SSD. The R9 290 isn't quite as powerful, but at 1080p it is a great card.

I love AMD cards, it's just that the other build fit what I wanted better. I hope you don't take offence to me liking the other build more. I do however think that your build would work just as well, it's just not what I wanted out of a pc.

No offence taken, as it is your money being spent  :)
