Hey guys,

So a buddy and I decided to race tot he highest value weapon in CSGO by April 1st. We each bought a $5 gun, but can't trade it until next week. In the mean time, a buddy gave us some $0.25 skins to start with. Long story short, it sucks. I got up to about a $0.50 gun last night, but I'll start a trade on csgo lounge, get no replies, and I'll reply to about 20+ trades, and I'm lucky if two people come back with no. I'm only going up by under $0.10 each gun, but it's just not working. Am I doing something wrong?

CS:GO Lounge is usually for high tier weapons, like $20+. People usually use the market for cheaper skins like that.

How do I trade with cheaper skins on the market?

I just sell them to buy other skins.

How do you tell if you're going to make a profit off the other skin you buy though?

CS GO lounge is the way to go. Just look up the value of your guns, and trade for a gun that's €0.20 more expensive or so. Then work your way up.

Going up my $0.40 is not an option. Nobody is going to ever take those deals. They hardly take ones going up by 5 cents.

How long? Because I'm making like no progress.

Took Me A Day It Differs Though

How do you do it? Do you make trades looking for weapons that are 0.40 higher? Or look at other peoples trades?

Wanna Get On The Teamspeak I Could Explain It There

That sounds like a great idea. But I'm about to head out for a while. Cool if I add you on steam and we do that when I get back?

Like I said, work your way up. Yesterday I made 2 trades, where I got about 1€ profit, the guns were only worth €5 or so.

Honestly just get a job, the payout is much more per hour even at minimum wage.

Also almost everyone's trying to trade-up so good luck trying to find someone who's willing.

Also watch out for scams, people will list items in the wrong quality and instead of getting a $50 skin you'll get like a 50c skin.

You can not trade steam wallet funds.

Do not do paypal unless you're certain, cause people can retract paypal payments.

I have a job, and I have plenty of money.

I'm not doing this to make money, etc. I'm merely racing a buddy on who can get the highest valued item in a month or two by betting, trading, etc.
