So this isn't exactly a build log. The computer is new but I've had it for a few month now and didn't log the process of actually putting it together. Today however I decided to open it up and give it a cleaning so I decided to take some pics and show my rig and setup while I was at it. This was a completely new build from my previous computer as I had a good chunk of change and everything was pretty old and average in my previous build.

 

In my previous build I had an old NZXT case with no cable management holes what so ever, an AM3 asus evo motherboard, Saphire HD 5770, and an AMD Athlon II X4 635 processor, the rest isn't even worth mentioning. 

 

For my new computer these are the specs:

Case: Cooler Master Half XM

Motherboard: ROG Rampage IV Formula

Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws X 4x8, 32Gigs total

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14

CPU: Intel i7 3970X

Graphics Cards: 2 GTX 690s

Power Supply: Corsair AX1200i

Storage: 3x 2TB Hard Drives (2 are WD Blacks, the third a basic Seagate), 128 GB ADATA SSD, 512GB Samsumg 840pro Boot Drive

I would personally get a much nicer case for all of these components.

Looks good but why do you need 3970x and 2x gtx 690?

just an opinion,,, every part of this build are awesome except for the case. spec wise... this is niceeeeee!!!!!.....

That thing looks awesome but i would go with a corsair/fractal desing case but i haven't seen an HAF-XM is age's on this forum
