question about deadpixels

Okay this is a bit off topic but 3 years ago I dropped my iPod and deadpixels came in lines and I didn't use my iPod for a year and when I got back all the deadpixels were gone. I don't know why this is. If someone could explain this that'd be great.and if someone can tell me if the same could happen on a monitor

it wasnt dead then :D

probably just temporarily not sure why this could be though.

a dead pixel implies that, its dead and not coming back.
