Interesting Ubisoft Game Launch Problem

When I try to launch a Ubisoft game that is connected to Uplay there is a processes called Uplay in Windows task manager but no application. The game does not start and Uplay does not appear anywhere. I've tried starting just Uplay, even running as administrator, but it still does not appear on the screen.

 

I guess it would probably work if I just re installed Uplay, but I wanted to know if anyone had seen anything like this. Also, if I re install Uplay do I have to re install all my Ubisoft games that are linked to Uplay? 

 

I'm on a Windows 7 machine.
