So I am planning to start work on this build soon. But before I begin, I would like to have some advice from anyone that has any of the parts I plan to use and if you don't any advice you could give would be appreciated! I plan on using this PC mainly for gaming and the basic everyday uses. I am just worried there is a part out there that would give me a boost for a little bit more money but that's just me again . Anyways I hope it will do great once I build it. Any advice is welcome and thanks in advance! :)

According to the Corsair web site the H105 is not compatible with the 500R. If you want a corsair cooler choose the H100i or H110. You might want to consider the NZXT Kraken X61 106.1 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler. All the coolers mentioned come with pre-applied thermal compound. So there is little need for the extra tube unless you believe using it will improve performance.

Personally I would go with Windows 8.1 64-bit. It will have a longer supported life time than Windows 7. It also does not have the 16GB memory limit of 7 Home Premium.

For a bit more more you can get the Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive, and for a bit less the OCZ ARC 100 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive. Both twice the capacity of the 850 Pro. For the usage described in the OP no noticeable performance difference.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I would suggest the i5 if you want to get the most out of your money. The i7 doesn't help much unless you are doing things that can actually use the hyperthreading.

You shouldn't need that thermal compound because the Corsair coolers come with some.

Also, unless you're getting that motherboard just for looks, you could probably go with something half the price.

G3258 @ 4.5 | 8GB Team Vulcan RAM | 128GB Kingston V300 SSD (I didn't know what I was doing when I bought it) | MSI H81I Motherboard | Corsair H55 with Noctua NF-P12 | EVGA SSC GTX 960 4GB | OCZ 550W Fully Modular PSU with Noctua NF-A14 | Cooler Master Elite 130 (Soon to be something cool)
