CPU usage oddly high.

Usually when I'm at idle my CPU usage slows anywhere between 2% and 15%. However, today I reinstalled Windows and now when I idle I sit at 20-35%. Do any of you know what the problem might be?

did you just boot up the computer it might be running some tasks

most likely windows running tasks in the background mine is like that sometimes.

Right now I'm on the third boot. I think that AVG might be doing something in the background, but it's not telling me that its scanning. Imma try to use task manager to pinpoint the resource hog.
