Wanting to buy a PS4 but I'm also considering the PS3 because its cheaper. Just a few questions I need to know before choosing what I'm going to get.

Can the PS4 play skyrim ,all the games in the AC series and bioshock series?

Can the PS3 do 1080p gaming?

Do I have to pay to play online games for both the consoles?

If you wanna play skyrim right, get a PC... its the only way to go.

just get PC, wireless gamepad and connect it to TV or use steam in home streaming, PC had backward compatibility while on PS3 you can only play old games and with bad framerates and resolution and on PS4 only new games at 60FPS or 1080p, only a few in few games you can get both, PC is also cheaper.

Best part about skyrim are is the modding community. You can play it on ps3 but you can only play it right on PC :P

Ps4 you mean peasant station 4, fanboisim aside I really don't recommend a console of you want to play older games and keep up with some new ones. Besides part of the experience of skyrim lies within modding.

I already own a pc like I said abv and play skyrim on it so just wondering about console. I'd rather sit on my sofa more relaxed then on my PC

Get wireless gamepad, really long HDMI cable (or use in home streaming) you will have much better experience and you will also save quite a bit of money :)
