so im helping a friend with a build  he has a 1500 usd budget he needs the tower and a monitor. windows is not needed but he also wants a i7 and wifi he wants a full/mid tower and i need help i cant seem to fit a i7 and gtx 970 into that budget with what i try to do . he wants to order everything from one site i believe such as new egg. if someone can help me out a little it will be appreciated. any gpu = to or above a 290 should do but we did see a i7 build with 2x 290 which he liked but no wifi, that was 1360. i mean just some help getting it planned out. i was thinking a 120gb ssd and 16gbs of ram with it and future proof a little so he is good for the next few years. i dont know if anyone can fit a 2011-3 build in that price with the same specs though.you are welcome to try . im to busy atm with some homework .

Not sure what he is looking for exactly, but this is pretty solid IMO.(You can get Windows much cheaper elsewhere)

Also, if it's important everything is from a single vendor...you will most likely have to add $100 or so to price...if there is a preferred vendor, I can see what's possible
