Hello amazing people!

I was just looking for some help in getting some good headphones. I want these to be for gaming and I'm looking for a nice low profile with a mic built in as well. If you amazing people can help with a budget priced set of headphones and a not so budget set, I would be very grateful.

Much appreciated!

What does "budget" and "not so budget" mean for you. Anyway here are a few recommendations:

HyperX Cloud 1 and 2

Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset

Rosewill RHM-556

PC Audio Setup = Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm and Sennheiser pc37x (also for xbox) hooked up to Schiit Fulla 3

For a moderate budget, get sennheiser 518/558 or audio technica ad500x/700x and a zalman mic. For an extreme budget, get sennheiser hd800s and an audio technica at2020 or blue yeti with an arm.

HyperX Cloud is a good new gaming headset if you'd like the convenience of an integrated microphone, but open headphones are generally considered a good thing for gaming.

Up to $300 is what I'm willing to spend at this point.

Shit, there's too many options to list! Have any idea what you think you'd want in a pair of headphones or past experiences to help shed light on your sound preferences?

If not, maybe just get something basic and entry level before dropping 300 big ones on a pair of fancy headphone you might not like. Sennheiser HD 518 and audio-technica ATH-AD500X are cheap, enjoyable for most people, and can start you on your audiophile journey if you want to find your perfect headphone in the future.
