I got an X99S Gaming 9 AC and have run into a few problems.

The first is that the pc seems to remember uptime, so it continues where the it left off last time I used the pc, (in tast manager) even when I pull out the power cable, after turning off the pc.

The 2nd problem, is that it dont seem to want to remember CPU multiplier in BIOS. It remember the voltage and other stuff, but not the multiplier.

Meaning I have to overclock it each time I turn on or reset my pc.

I tried switching to the backup BIOS, then flashing it to newest version (1.6), but still the same problem.

So does I have a faulty BIOS or is there another problem?

I can see the battery, but my water cooling is in the way, so cant get to it, without taking everything apart.

What do you mean the CPU multiplier doesn't set properly? It doesn't change at all?

It changes when I'm in the BIOS, I then save it and load up Windows.

I run a stress test, then restart to go back to BIOS, only to find that the multiplier is "auto" again, but the voltage and other stuff is kept.

So it resets the multiplier on load, but the strange thing is that if I go directly into BIOS again after "exit and save", all the settings are kept.

The overclock is detected in Windows, so it does overclock, but it just dont seem to want to remember the CPU multplier, if I restart or turn off.

I would try re-flashing the BIOS chip.
