Bios BLK not updating

FIXED : updated my bios from f7 to f14 works perfectly sitting on 100.01 again woot thanks guys didn't realize my bios was old as crap.

I was stressing my i5-3470 and realized it was at 99.77 BLK, its been at 100.01 so I went to bios and said ill bump it from auto to 100.1 since itl be forced, save boot and absolutely nothing changed went to bios its at 100.1 but at the system monitor its at 99.77. why is this how can I fix it ?

had a similar problem on a z77 mpower .

 

try a different bios version.

 

I had to run an older bios version to adjust the blck. the new versions were bugged for me.

You can try a different BIOS version or reset the BIOS through removal of the CMOS battery or Clear CMOS button.

done the reset, its not that I cant change it it just doesn't want to actually change after I boot

flash the bios. always try the latest. if your on the latest , start working your way back

The setting is basically frozen. Re-write the BIOS to the CMOS chip.
