says that is supports 1600mhz ram and 1800 oc.

 

What if I put in 1800mhz ram at STOCK.

Some say it MAY not boot porpely, others say if it does it will work at lower freq or maybe even same. What do you think?

Any ram that has a freq of 1866mhz can be used as a varible, nothing in paticular.

It will probably just downclock to 1600Mhz. But turn on the XMP profile and it will go right back up 1800.

Like @fishymamba said, mobo will regonize memory as 1600 since chipset only uses stock 1600 memory clocks. XMP uses real clocks.
