Oh yeah, I never use tags :P

GTX 980 classified seems to be clocked a bit higher.

Not sure if that translates to more fps in games, look up some benchmarks yourself.. (I doubt it will be worth it for 120 euros more or so)

How many more topics are you going to create about that??

Once more and I'm sure countless people answered that in your other 4 topics... the EVGA GTX980 Classified is a card made for extreme OverClockers. The benefit for gamers is literally nothing in terms of performance. If you want the best of this card you will need a good PC running with LN2.

The FTW is the highend consumer grade EVGA card.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

LN2 needs to be set up on a special test bench and it only works as synthetic benchmark machine because you have to pour constantly LN2 and maintain the temp curve. This is very expensive and needs not only special preparation of the hardware but also a lot of learning and knowledge. You would need a motherboard like the SoC Champion with a 5930K or a 5960X in order to make 3 or 4 way SLI even possible.

Just get your gaming stuff going, I don't think from all you wrote you are anywhere near to be able to set up a LN2 machine. Get a card or 2 and start OCing with air and get experience. You will 100% fail trying to go from zero to hero. And it is possible as well to kill a Classified, ask @ JustCallMeVlad.

@Najuno - You have tried. This is his third or forth topic about the same thing. He is either trolling or we are going to see some glorious after pictures which will serve as a warning for others of what not to do. At least he is no longer considering using a stock cooler on Kingpins.

Sorry to say that but this guy has literally no clue of what OCing is all about. Neither in terms of hardware nor in terms of what cooling for what kind of OC is apropriate. I´m tired in explaining the same thing over and over, and tell a person that is obviously learning resistent, how it is done right.

Believe it or not in 10 years OCing with air and water cooling I´ve paid my dues!

I keep this as usual, unless I see valid benchmark scores, all the person says is blablabla.

I thought, that Classified chips are cherry picked. Mine for example has ASIC value 91,7%. I know ASIC is not everything..

Correct me if I am wrong.
