Some very interesting stories guys!
Unfortunately these all happened to us, but glad everyone recovered.

I've gotten a few dents and whacks over the years.

Torn tendons in my knee, Stabbed myself through the leg with a big knife, Broken my nose, Arm and a couple of ribs. Dislocated my right shoulder a few times. .And fingers. Fingers are the worst to dislocate.

Those are all i can recall at the moment.

 

I also have a dent in my head from jumping off the last step of the staircase down to my basement.. And basically rocketing myself into the edge of the roof.. Hurt like a motherf**ker

Dart in neck too. (Idiot friend not listening when i said i was going to walk past him)

Broke a bone in my foot from trying to kickstart my old CR500 dirtbike.

Hey guys, just wanted to share any injury stories.

I just dislocated my shoulder on monday, and am in a sling. Im told I need to wear the sling for 1-4 weeks and recovery could be about 12 weekd.

The bad part is, I start a new job with a company in exactly 1 week and I need my arms for this. So I'm stressed and sad.

I hope they keep me.

Anyone else have anything similar?

I'm pretty sure I tore my left rotator culf while weightlifting. It hurt for 8 months and I continued to workout but did very light weight. I know I should of gone to the doctor but hey I was stubborn. I hate going to the doctor.

 

Wow, that would be really dickhead-ish of them to let you go because of an injury. 

 

I've personally never had anything serious, I've had a couple of motorcycle accidents but always managed to walk away with scratches and bruises. The worst I ever had was a broken finger in middle scool. Oh, and I once walked barefoot into one of those thick tape dispensers that was laying on the floor, the metal blade took the skin right off my toe, leaving me with the bone sticking out. Had to get it stiched, but wasn't half as bad as it looked.

I have seen this happen to many people. Job let them go because of an injury that was not work related.

Lucky. Here in the USA it depends on the state you live in. Unless you're in a union your job can let you go.

I'm a bit ashamed of this, but I rolled out of a bunk bed once and broke my arm. :unsure:
