Picky Choosy - CPU Decisions

So im planning on upgrading my pc from a crappy amd apu to an intel core series, I really want to go with an i5-4690k as it is unlocked , but it comes with a higher price tag then the  i3-4150, I would like to know if the i5 is a definite go to. I will definitely be gaming and also some video editing/creation for youtube aswell. I also have 8gb of ram & a gtx 560ti 1gb ,which i will be upgrading hopefully soon, in case that makes any difference; My main point in considering the i3 is that it is nearly have the cost of the i5 allowing me to buy it and a new motherboard a lot sooner. Which is the best bang for buck option? i5-4690k is the go to.

4690k, cuz the 4670k is slower and like 2 dollars more (priced dropped 4 days after I got my 4670k).... :angry:
