Ram compatibility

Hello guys! I was just wondering if i can mix a cl11 ram with a cl9 one. Im looking for a ram upgrade and it seems like the cl9 rams are kinda cheaper so yeah will i have any problems combining them two? Thanks :)

Welcome to the forums! You can, but only if you run them in separate color-coded slots. If you only have two ram slots, then you cannot. It is advised to only use RAM of the same CL speeds.

Damn it my mobo has 2 channels for ddr2 and 2 for ddr3 so i guess i cant. Anyways thanks for the support guys i really appreciate it :)

What mobo do you have?
