My answers:

 

1: Luke will win.

 

2: The 290 is just so powerful, and with a little overclocking, the e8400 keeps up with a q6600. (I expect them both to overclock, but I also know the e8400 overclocks well and is a lot faster in single threaded performance. 

 

3: Well, I think they would keep them as medals from the war. But it'd also be really cool to have a giveaway, imagine getting a custom PC that nobody else has, built by your favorite tech-tubers.

Honestly, I could see Linus doing that. I would hope he wouldn't, but it's always a possibility.

He cheats in loads of their competition videos, but it's not in a... malicious way. It makes the video funny and more entertaining.

IF the R9 290 works and isn't bottlenecked too hard, Luke will win. After that it will probably either be given away or resold as spare parts...

Bit off topic but now that I see a LMG video edited as if it was a reality show on actual TV, you can see just how impressive their production values are it actually does look like it could easily be on TV, not sure how they manage that but investing in editors and fancy cameras paid off definitely.

Lukes 290 is a great choice, although it's possibly been a mining card for that price, so it might be damaged/not perform as well as hoped. Also, linus is the reason linus will "win"

I expect they'll sell the cards, maybe in the garage sale they do sometimes.
