The only reason I see making multi-part episodes reasonable is when the project/work takes many weeks/months/years to accomplish. Something that can be completed in a few days is 200% better off being it's own big/small video (AND released later if needed) rather than even that being broken down into parts.

The only reason I see them enforcing multi-part episodes on short projects are ad revenue.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Only yours, you don't shitpost on the same level that we can, mainly because this thread is finally dead and should be locked.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

I do like the multipart episodes, but I'd like it much more if there was a shorter time between episodes.

TV episodes are approximately 22 minutes and some have intros and credit rolls.

If they make 20 minute episodes, it's OK. People complaining about monetization must know that this is their job. How dare they attempt to make money by making entertaining/informative multimedia content.

It depends on how many parts. If it is long videos that are +15 mins and are 2 or 3 parts they are fine. Another major problem is the time between the parts. Take the whole room water cooling for example I barely remember what happened in the first part and its not even over yet. I would prefer 2 or 3 parts and a fixed time like weekly (Something like what they are doing for the Scrapyard Wars, assuming it's going to be 3 Parts).

If only they were to release them in are a reasonable

succession instead of releasing each video ages apart.

You no longer give a single care about the whole premise

by the time it gets far enough to actually amount to anything.

I think that ideally for the viewers  if you are going to do multi episodes you should film and create all of them first and set a schedule in the first vid and stick to it. I love the multisode content but I do find it annoying that we have no idea when the next one is coming or how many episode there are.

First, why are we comparing this to traditional television, it's not and shouldn't be.

I don't think that they need to stop the whole multipart episodes, but they do need to find a better balance. 2-4 days between episodes is better. The 'suspense' should be time waiting for a new video not waiting for the conclusion of something from 2 weeks prior.
