MicroAtx LAN Party Build

BigChimp97

So I won't actually be building this PC soon, just seeing how much it would cost to actually do one. I've got this as a build currently - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZZVrnQ. I'm trying to keep the cost down as much as possible, if i could get it close to £800 that would be amazing! Any help would be appreciated! (And give your opinions)

Thanks guys!

Get cheaper motherboard and CPU (i5-4460) and better GPU (GTX 970 / R9 290(x)). Also go for air cooler (Noctua NH-D14) will do the same work, actually it can be even better. ;) I'm going to build one example and edit this post.

EDIT:

Picked up Z97, because it's more future proof, but if you want you can go for H97..

Is there a need for an after market heatsink? you could save £50 if your not gonna do any overclocking at all. this is a beast pc :P but the cooler isn't necessary if ur not overclocking

@BigChimp97 You won't notice it in games. It depends how much you will overclock i5-4690K, but i5-4460 + GTX 970 > i5-4690K + R9 280X that's for sure. :)

For LAN prodigy will be better case, because you can carry it easier. Also this RAM runs at 1.65V which produce more heat => higher temps. Do you need the case only because optical drive?
