I own ATH M50. someone offered me to trade my m50 for his Sennheiser Momentum Over Ears. i will be adding $100. is it worth it or no?

Wouldn't bother, unless you know that the fullsized fits you already.

The Momentum's have  a different sound signature, so unless you are unhappy with how your m50's sound I wouldn't bother.

its not that im unhappy with my m50's. i just thought i can upgrade and get something better.

Not really true, they mostly sound the same, Fullsized having less treble and a better square wave.

The fullsized Momentum doesn't fit (Physically) a lot of people, if it doesn't fit you, it will sound like trash.

ohh. i dont have a big ear. so it will probably fit me.

Its not a size thing. I have small ears and a large jaw bone, which creates a large gap behind my ear between the bottom of my jaw and skull. This causes me to have issues getting a seal out of the headphone and it therefore sounds like trash.

Ill try them when we meet up. But are the momentum really an upgrade from ath m50?

Thats for you to decide. Take your time when you're testing them. If at any point you feel its not worth it, walk away.

Honestly. I think my ears are not that good. I just want the better one. Maybe soon ill hear the difference.

It doesn't matter how good your ear is. If you can't hear the difference, it's not better.
