PSU Upside Down?

I have a question. Since I have an Enermax Ostrog Eca3253 case, it has a power supply fan filter. I plan to buy the EVGA 500B power supply. Its fan faces up. If I want to make use of the filter, can I put the PSU upside down? I was not sure if it's possible or recommended.

You can put the PSU any way you want so long as it can draw in air.

So, if theres a filter on the bottom of your case for the psu, then so long as there is clearance beneath (between the floor and the bottom of) the case then you can put the fan down.

As long as your PSU has adequate air flow, either way works.

There's no real "correct" way to place the PSU in a case with bottom filtered PSU mount. If you have the computer on a carpet then have the fan up facing into the case, if it's on a desk or hard floor then have the PSU fan down.
