Go to solution Solved by Guest,

so ive i where to use a EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Gold for 2x 970 strix, overclock those, 4790k, and overclock that too, would 750gold be enough?

Do you already own the psu ? If not get the G2 version. If you already own it then it will work ok.

it'd be very tight..... i'm not sure to be honest.

I think a 850 would be more comfortable.

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

That system would be perfectly fine with a 650 Watt PSU.

If you had 2 290X's yeah but 970's draw 165W of power each and a 4790K draws 88W, so OP will be fine.

Not at all. Max power draw of an entire system with 2 970s is only 320-430 watts http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/geforce-gtx-970-sli-review,4.html

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

The EVGA Supernova G2 is made by Super flower and is based on the Leadex platform which is far superior.

The NEX version is made by FSP and is based on the Aurum platform.

You can see the difference in the reviews below.
