:D Hello, and thank you in advance for reading this entire message if you did :):D

I am currently planning and building a new Gaming PC rig purely for recording purposes and gaming of course.

I need to know if this build is compatible with all of its parts and if it will be able to ultra most games at 1080p with at least 60 frames.

THE BUILD:

GPU> EVGA GTX 980

CPU> Intel Core i7 4790K

FAN> CM Hyper 212 EVO

MOBO> ASUS 797 PRO LGA

RAM> Crucial Ballistix 16gb

SSD> Samsung 840 EVO

HDD> Western Digital Blue 1 TB

CASE> CM Storm Stryker Full Tower

PSU> Seasonic M1211-850

ODD> Samsung 24x SATA

Some other things you should note before commenting on some changes I should make:

I will probably not go any lower than 16gb because it's used for many more purposes then gaming and I like the reassurance.

The original build was going to be SLI but I changed my mind, are any of these parts incompatible?

Also I would like you to leave a rating out of 10, give a point for every piece of the build is good.

BTW my budget is in AUD at exactly 2500 dollars. But feel free to post the price in what ever currency you use and I will just convert it.

Don't buy a 980, it's a straight up waste of money when you could buy 2 290Xs for the same price. Everything else is fine... but it's spelled "frostbite"

Thank you for your reply, I've heard great reviews about the 980 but I will definitely look into Crossfire 290x.

Also I spelt it with a y on purpose, not sure why... I just like byte. :D

For a gaming pc a 9, what dinged you was the ok'ish cpu cooler. I would recommend a NH D14/15 or liquid 240mm AIO.

Thanks for the recommendation I will definitely look into it.

besides my go to recommendation for crossfire 290x's looks great

Looks good

^

Thanks for the help and for the compliment  :D

m8 i r8 8/8  :D

Cheers.  :D

Oh don't get me wrong, 980s are good cards, they just suck for the price.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
