- does the wireless see other networks? (y'know, sapping off the neighbors)

- is your access point wireless AC only? (if this is a thing, i'm done with router manufacturers)

- is your access point 2.4GHz and/or 5GHz? (some laptops cant access 5GHz)

- is it within range? (big houses and dense walls are a thing)

- can other devices find your wireless networks? (shouldnt be asking this)

very good, could you give me the settings the router is running on:

- channel

- mode

- channel width

- what kind of security (WEP/WPA)
