240ish gb SSD picking help

Go to solution Solved by WereCat,

Lol, so this may sound stupid to ask now but you still think the adata is better. Thats what im hearing

Yes, I would still go with the 256GB one as it is only $8 more.

I want to pick up a second ssd for my system mostly to put games i will play alot on there like counterstrike and gta 5. My current config of sata devices is bootdrive samsung 840 evo, storage 2 1tb WD blue's, and a standard ODD. I need help deciding between two ssd's. If you have any suggestion si wan them to be cheap as possible. First one OCZ arc http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/ocz-internal-hard-drive-arc10025sat3240gsecond one is adata sp600 http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/a-data-internal-hard-drive-asp600s3256gmc. I understand that the adata has slightly more storage space but the OCZ is significantly faster in both iops and mbps. I also heard something about OCZ being unreliable. Anyway what are your thoughts. Thx

I would go for that SP600 as it has 16GB more for barely any price increase. You dont need the fastest SSD if you are not going to use it for OS, at this moment price/GB matters and SP600 is the better one.

According to pc part picker the OCZ drive has a better price/ gb

Just math dude. I go just based on the links you posted.

SP600 $0,425 / GB

OCZ ARC 100 $0,416 / GB

EDIT:

YOU ARE RIGHT :D  :D

I go restart my head see you later.

BTW: Still I would go with 256GB one as it is only $8 more.
