So, I have been having this problem for a few weeks now, when ever I reset my computer, the ethernet adapter will break. By break, I mean that when I go into device manager, it won't show any ethernet adapters. If I uninstall and reinstall the drivers it doesn't help either, I have tried manually adding it but it will just give me an error 31 (could not load drivers). I have already tried running a virus scan with malware bytes. It will eventually work if I do random things on the computer that don't normally work like cleaning up the C drive which might have caused windows to configure and when I reset it magically worked again. Thanks in advance!

Could be something messed up in the OS somewhere.

1. Do the sfc /scannow on cmd (I don't know the exact command)

2. If that doesn't work, try putting Linux on a USB drive and running it FROM THE USB DRIVE just to see if it works on there. Could be a signal that you need to format your HDD and do a fresh Windows install.

3. If the Windows install doesn't work, contact your motherboard manufacturer support
