Can not disable GPU Scaling in AMD Catalyst Control Center

Catalyst Version : 14.12 AMD Catalyst Omega Software

Monitor: Acer AL2216W 1680x1050

 

I can not turn off GPU scaling 
the box remains checked all the time

If i try to run resolutions lower than the native - i am never able to run it at centered timings

i used to be able to do this few years ago, i dont know what changed.
 

Please let me know what can be done to run centered timings

Try use non-native or weird resolution, open CCC and check if the option still greyed out.

Thats the problem, its not greyed out.

I can uncheck the box. but when i hit Apply, the box gets checked again on its own....
