Is this a good build?

Go to solution Solved by TheGhzGuy,

H97 boards aren't much cheaper than Z97 boards.

True

There's not much point in getting a Z97 board if you're using a non-k i5 4690. Other than that it seems pretty solid.

Cpu-I5 4690(Not k )

Gpu- 2 Gtx 660 sc in sli

MoBo- Z97x-Sli

1 Tb HD

240gb Ssd

PSU-Corsairs Hx750 750 watt

8gb DDR3 Ram

get an h97 board for the i5, a little bit cheaper and more practical.

unless you already have the 2x gtx 660 go something along with an R9 290/X they are cheap and offer plenty of gaming performance. in some countrys tho the gtx 970 is cheaper than the amd cards just make sure you can get the best deal.

If you don't plan to overclock then you shouldn't get Z97 chipset and you should get 1 single strong GPU instead of 2 weaker one.
