No issue with either. Maybe you went over your data cap? They added the new 300GB/month cap 8(?) months ago no matter your plan. Go over and you start throttling (happened to me).

Or perhaps your router is dying? Are you using wifi or ethernet?

When did they add that?

How do I know I exceeded that?

Cause when I go to twith, the page is there but the stream box isint.

A while back. And I'm not sure -- when I went over I got an annoying message on my screen that I couldn't get rid of until we had an Xfinity guy come fix it or something.

OK, can you point me in the right derection?

If I visit speedtest.net I get CONNECTION_Lost or CONNECTION_Reset, I am in california so data cap may be different...

So can both of these happen cause of the router, also on idle usage, the ethernet cables on my router which usually had a green light on, have orange one...

It is possible because of your router if the orange lights are on. It means either the router is dying (assumption) or the connection has been cut from your provider.

And honestly, all I did was call Xfinity and we had a guy come check it out. Customer service online or through the phone didn't help at all, so I wouldn't recommend that. If you have another router, you can try that.

Hmm, connection has been cut? If that was the case wont  I not be able to use any website?

Er, maybe cut wasn't the correct word. Throttling.

Sorry. Networks aren't my forte unfortunately D:

Thanks for helping me all along! Apparently there was some problem, but now I am getting 100 mbps 0.0
