So I bought a K70RGB from them a week ago because all the other sites charge almost twice the price for one for no real reason. Can't seem to get one from Newegg, Amazon, or anywhere for a decent price and they're sold out.

So going to Corsair's site I noticed they're a more reasonable price. But my order still says processing and I sent them a customer support ticket yesterday. Typically I get a response from companies the next day. And my order status has not changed. I can't cancel the order or anything and i'm about to go to my bank and tell them to cancel the charge and send Corsair an email telling them not to bother.

Anyone have any idea why the K70RGB's are overpriced online and does anyone have experience with Corsair? I'm pretty unsatisfied with them at this point. When something says it'll ship within 5 days I expect it to be here no later than the next week from ordering it.

Agreed, I told them I lost my mounting kit for my H55 and they sent me one free of charge after I showed them my receipt :)

Interesting. Well I guess i'll wait until Friday. If I don't get anything by then i'm gonna be pretty upset. Been wanting this keyboard since they announced it. Only able to afford it thanks to my tax return, so this is kinda bothering me more than it should be.

Wow, bad luck. As far as I know, they have one of the best support there is. I got a RMA in a day after posting a pic of my PSU, my receipt and problems.

That's why I always buy from corsair

well i messaged them 2 days (yes a full 48) about how my 780t case came with scratched plexiglass and they have not responded (really excited to have a nice scratch on it). BUT i ordered a 24pin and it took 3 days to leave their "warehouse" so yours will probably ship soon. so much fun literally my entire build is done EXCEPT that 24pin the longest shipping out of any parts ordered. i mean it is functioning and all since i am using the cord that came with psu but i mean come on, you grab the package stick a label on it and UPS/FEDEX grabs it shouldn't take 3 days

I had a pair of 1500 v2s that had the unique feature of switching left and right audio channels randomly during games. It got really confusing when I kept looking to the left and getting shot from the right. Anyway, I emailed support over the course of a few days in a conversation that ultimately ended in what could be summed up by the words "tough shit" and "Its a software issue, we don't rma for software issues." Lucky for me the damn things shorted out a few months later and I got a new pair.

Meant to post here about an update myself actually.

So I got a hold of their live support, they gave me a number to call. Had to wait a couple days before I could but basically she told me they're just on back order and they'll begin shipping around March 18th. So that's cool. Not what I was hoping for but at least I got an answer. Now, to just wait.

yeah that is how i feel, one week to hear "no order number in our system" oh yeah because we can ONLY order a case from your site, it is not possible to get a corsair case any other way so i must be lying that i have a 780t case and that my plexi has a scratch. they got me! i really want a 780t front panel lid sent to me to hang on my wall im just trying to rip them off. OR maybe i just want a case lid without a scratch lol

lol yea. At least Cooler Master sells the plexy replacements if you need em. Their live support seems spotty. Pretty disappointed they never got back to the ticket I had submitted. But meh it's all sorted I suppose, at least for me. Hope you hear back from them soon about that.

try explaining that while an AX1500I is working, (sort of) anytime you connect something new to the 6 pin part of the power supply it takes time to register....

I run a AIO CPU cooler.... Powered by SATA... yup that's a six pin line. Took a week to actually get my rig up and running (jury rigged power from my old PC, left the back plate off the case and just hooked up the line to my old PSU) A week and a half after that... My SSD's and Hard drive were detected. (I've got a M.2 boot drive, no problem with power)

I got a prompt...ish response, two days later. I spent a good 20 min in online chat with the lovely tech support person who seemed to have the IQ of a budgerigar. He could not understand that this wondrous product could actually malfunction in such a way. BTW. My product does not exist, as I have an AU version. The product number does not exist. (see above reason) There isn't such a thing as an AX1500i..... I literally spent over 6 hours just trying to submit a support ticket. In the end I gave up, called company HQ (yes international call, middle of the night, 10 minutes on hold) I got given the actual product code, for something that wasn't my power supply that might let me submit my support ticket so I could actually explain That I had a different product that didn't seem to be listed. And I had a problem that the tech support person I interacted with had never encountered before, and why would he seek out his supervisor's advice or see if anyone else had the same problem....

/end rant.

Okay I have not had a good interaction with corsair customer support yet. Considering half my build is corsair, that's a little worrying.

yeah in all honesty i think it is all hardware vendors at this point. i am also talking with asus after people have pointed out my strix sticker is upside down on my GPU (minnor i know) but they are hassling me on sending a STICKER. their advice is to try and return a completely functioning card back to the retailer to buy another and take the same chance at getting another upside down sticker from their lack of QA. its a sticker! like maybe 50 cents cost and they still wont help. if i went and bought a honda and the logo was upside down do you think they would tell me to take it to the dealer and get a whole new car or would they just fix the emblem? just wonder what the world is coming too lol. Did you get your psu replaced ever?

In Australia? are you joking? even if I paid for their fast replacement policy, I'd be 3 weeks without a 700 dollar PSU. I live with the fact that I have to be very careful with what I attach. I have to accept the fact that it probably won't register immediately, and my PSU will winge and bitch at me while it is registering the fact that I actually want it to power something. (yes the fault light flashes any time I hook up something new).

The fault light actually flashed for a week when I hooked up my corsair commander module.

Wow. I'm kinda glad to see a mixed bunch of comments toward their customer support. I was kinda wondering why they would have such a backlog on these keyboards. I mean every site is sold out. Honestly I'd have bought from Newegg but $230 or so for something that I can get for $160ish on the companies site? Yea no... I figure this would be a popular enough thing to keep in stock, but then again they did discontinue the blues.
