But tbh for remote login the extra screen size is nice to use. I have used a 7" and 10" tablet and in your case, the 10" seems the better way to go.

And i would just get a samsung tablet that fits in your budget. Can't go wrong with it.

Well i was going to suggest the shield tablet, until i looked at the price. it is $300 us, if you can fork out another hundred dollars from somewhere.
