I recently built my new gaming PC with about an $800 budget, and I think I did pretty well. Just wondering how long my current setup will last as new and better games come out, and what I should upgrade first.

Nvidia 760 2GB VRAM (Overclocked)

Intel core i5-4440

8 GB DDR3-1600

That i5 can take a lot more than the 760. Get a new gpu. You can even get a 980 if you want :P

And you can't really add more RAM without replacing it because your motherboard only has two RAm slots

I plan on upgrading my motherboard when I do upgrade, just so I have more upgrade options in the future.

I would find a friend who needed a cpu and then get one that you can overclock after selling your old one. What are you doing with your computer though?

I could probably easily convine my sister to take it with my motherboard, she is running a old system with 2GB RAM, but ahe is getting more soon.

Is a 980 worth the extra money from a 970? And can you explain why if it is.

Specifically this 970 https://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx9704gd5toc

The 970 has a better price-performance so unless you need the best of the best out there, take the 970. But what i just wanted to say is your cpu can handle a 980 without bottlenecking it.
