Razer hate

I own 2 Razer products, an Abyssus mouse for when I broke my right wrist and needed an ambidextrous mouse, and a Sabertooth Xbox controller (the sucessor to the Onza, which seemed to be plagued by problems).  I havent used them for very long so the jury is still out on the build quality, but so far both of them have been good.  I now take the Abyssus on the road with me when I am away from my desktop, and it has held up without a problem so far.  I will say that the build quality seems to be excellent on the Sabertooth and I don't anticipate any problems with it.

 

But yeah, the people with bad product experiences tend to be more vocal and that's probably part of the reason why Razer has a bad rap.  Quality control problems also seemed to be a part of it but as any company gains more experience those tend to get smaller and smaller.

Oh and I also dislike the people who go "people hate it because it is popular I guess lol". It's the exact same argument as Justin Beiber fangirls use "you just dislike him because he is famous". No, I dislike Justin because he is an bad singer who is way too overhyped. I dislike most Razer products because they are flat out bad, yet people hype them like crazy.

I love Razer's products in general. When that is out there, the only real complaint i have is that i'm not that impressed by the quality of their Highest tier products.

I've got the Mamba 2012, where the scrollwheel is squeaking and the battery is used in 8Hours.I've done a RMA and it didn't improve the squeaking or the battery life even on low sensitivity,(the squeaking was back after like a week)

Don't get me wrong, I'ts a cool product and all, but i see no reason not just to buy Deathadder 2013 instead since you have to plug it in every day.

I've had quite a history with Razer as a supplyer. including the old Deathadder, Mamba 2012, Deathadder 2013 (Laptop) Tiamat 2.2 and the Anansi Keybord (That i LOOOVE)

Often Razer's products doesen't launch in Europe (I'm from Denmark), so i can't comment on many products from razer, but in general i recomend Razer to all that ask me, and i use all of my equipment on a daily basis.

First off all overpriced compared to other pheriperal suppliers (that's where I live ofc).. second a guy I know who really adores them (i know this is not gonna be a good argument) He's a complete ass so I hate them

I had a lycosa... it broke so i got a new (warranty) it was DEO so i got a new... it was good for  THREE WEEKS! then it broke so i got a  logitech G110 in 2011 and it is going strong... But you cant hate on a company just for one product...

Personally i have no idea where razer get's some of it's ideas with the color scheme, most pc gamers that have a color scheme have it, with eiter blue,red,white, those are the most common colors so why make it green? as for razer's idea on keyboard switches and mecanicals, they only have one mechanical and instead of giving it mx browns, or reds  they opt for one of the loudest switches made. all their other keyboards are sadly chiclet or non mechanical, it's like iv'e never understood razer's marketing ideas. what are they trying to do? as for the mice, their just fine i love my naga, but as for keyboards it's like their trying to not appeal to gamers, the majority of us want mechanical keyboards, usually Mx cherry reds/browns. yet they opt for the opposite of that. idk thats my thoughts on their keyboard section.

I don't like Razer products because they generally have an awful looking design and their mice are soooo flat and have to raised corners on the mouse buttons, doesn't work well with my hands. Ofc this is my own opinions. 

I do actually own a Razer Abyssus, had to buy it because I forgot my mouse back home in Sweden after a quick visit when I lived on Malta and the availability of Tech on Malta is very limited and overpriced. The Abyssus was the cheapest mouse I could find that was anywhere close to what I was looking for.
